STS always needs volunteers!
People outside the theatre group are amazed when they learn how much effort goes into running a community theatre organization. Putting on a show requires the coordination and cooperation of many people. Simply put, it’s working together as a team for a common goal: The Show Must Go On. There are costumes, lighting, sets, publicity, ushers, to name just a few of the tasks. Most of that work is done by people you never see, and without those dedicated workers putting on a show would not be possible.
STS volunteers are very special. Community theatre is a labor of love. We do it for the love of theatre and to hear the applause of an appreciative audience. That is the payment for a job well done.
